Jenna Ortega

Dracula reads about the fan casting for Jenna, wishing for her to star in a Dracula adaptation. Generating art of her as Mina. He thinks of that time log ago he was thwarted in claiming Mina as his. A wicked idea forms. He shall finance a Dracula adaption, starring Jenna as the leading lady, warp her mind until she believes, until she *is* Mina that always should have been his. Her so-called fans have sealed her fate, he shall give them what they want as he takes what he wants.

Jenna has received the notice. A Dracula production, apparently with an unknown as the title character. The best ones always are, the director says, a notoriously unscrupulous individual. She's ready to pass, it's too pat, too many vampire movies. But the money. She decides to take a meeting, a screen test in front with this Dracula. She steps into the building, he gazes into her eyes. Something overcomes her. She accepts.

That night, a dream. Victorian era London. A woman who looks like Jenna sits next to a man, his face kind, vaguely handsome but soft and non-descript. Both on the verge of tears. she holds his hand, both ringed, she tries to assure him. But she looks across the street, a pair of eyes gazing at her. She feels a tingling in her stomach, guilt and anticipation. Jenna then awakens, alone in her bed, gasping. Wet.

She arrives on the set. Introduced to her castmates,a veteran as Van Helsing, a young up and comer as Jonathan. Both are naturally smitten with Jenna, the Jonathan quite infatuated. The director schmoozed his way in, introducing the Dracula. The shoot goes on, though each night, Jenna dreams as Mina. One evening, as the makeup and hair person is regaling her previous night's escapades, Jenna responds like a polite but somewhat shocked Victoria schoolteacher.

Ethan has grown quite attached to Jenna, trying to solicit to Sir Reginald for advice. He's wary of the she moves around this...actor playing Dracula, the ways her eyes glaze, and his predatory intent. His mentor says it's just getting in the mood, but the young man is not so sure. He decides to take Jenna aside, and as they talk she calls him by his character name, talks more in character. He's unnerved, tells Jenna this isn't funny. She asks why he's calling her “Jenna”.

The night comes, the big scene, when Dracula takes the bite out of the leading lady. Ethan tells Jenna to let him know if it gets uncomfortable, as he crosses a boundary. He's pretty sure Sir Reginald has been in some pub fights, judging by his nose. Jenna looks quizzically, speaks dreamily. The scene starts shooting. Dracula leans forward his mouth at her neck. He begins to pull down her dress, kneading her. Lucas thinks it's gone too far, even Sir Reginald is thinking a line has been crossed. Then he notices, blood. Actual blood.

Sir Reginald tries to intervene, attempting to pull him off stronger than he looks, but it is quickly tossed across the room, unconsciously. Ethan lunges, but Dracula bangs him on the bed, he writhes in agonizing pain, sick, wanting to collapse, but then he hears it. Jenna's voice, screaming in pain. He brings himself to get up, following her voice. She's not screaming in pain. Not fully. Unbridled passion, in a very Un-Victorian position, as Dracula feeds.

The nexy night, she rises. She rises, Dracula asking how his Mina is feeling. The promising, spirited young star, her identity erased and supplanted, molded and bound as Dracula's eternal bride.
